Codi Barbini is an artist, filmmaker and writer. Her work deals with a curiosity about language; how we are spoken to, and the roles we are given and play.

Her work has been exhibited at A+D Museum, Heiress Gallery, Diner Gallery, The Print Center Philadelphia, SCOPE Miami and New York, OVNi Objectif Video Nice, The Santa Monica Museum of Art, The Annenberg Space for Photography and published in the LA Times, WePresent, Artillery Magazine, Dazed, and Flaunt Magazine among others. Her feature documentary, The New Normal, is available to stream through Amazon Prime. It’s Always This Beautiful, I Just Can’t Always See It is her first book of writing published through Bottlecap Press and available at Skylight Books in Los Angeles, CA and 27th Letter Books in Detroit, MI.
