My Intention Is shares the stories of adolescents who have found the resiliency and strength within themselves to overcome the trauma inflicted by war and violence in their communities. Their stories capture the ability of the human spirit to persevere even under the most unimaginable and difficult of circumstances, in order to build a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.
The series is intended to inspire other teens who have experienced similar challenges to find the same strength within themselves, and also to provide the general public with a glimpse of the next generation who will be instrumental in bringing peace to society.
SOCIAL IMPACT INITIATIVE
TO EDUCATE: Utilize the series as a catalyst to initiate and advance conversations about the needs of adolescents whose lives have been affected by war and civil unrest.
TO ENGAGE: Galvanize policy makers, business leaders, local stakeholders, and beneficiary groups to develop collaborative responses to the specific needs of these adolescents within their communities.
TO BUILD: Utilizing a partnership framework, support the implementation of locally-tailored pilot projects.
